Peri Michael

Peri Michael is a producer who values inclusive storytelling, particularly around female, WOC, and queer perspectives. Adopted from China, she has largely been shaped by her upbringing in the small-town rural Northeast. She studied business, communication, and film at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and spent several years working in the New England film industry before moving to Los Angeles. Peri earned an MFA in Producing from the American Film Institute Conservatory (AFI) and has interned with Sony Pictures and the Television Academy. She is grateful to have found her way to Breakwater Studios and aims to continue exploring innovative stories.
