Josh Rosenberg
Josh Rosenberg grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin just 10 blocks from Lambeau Field. Every Sunday in the fall you can find him watching his beloved Green Bay Packers.
Josh attended the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee where he got his degree in Broadcast Journalism. After an internship with the NPR station in Milwaukee Josh decided instead to pursue his true passion – filmmaking after a chance encounter with Director Niels Mueller.
Josh wrote and directed the feature film TRACKS at the age of 23. He followed that up with producing and co-writing the feature film JESSICA. A few of the US and International screenings include Phoenix, Wisconsin, Chelsea, Snowdance, Illinois, Gig Harbor. Josh’s last project before joining Breakwater was as the producer on the feature film SMALL TOWN WISCONSIN starring David Sullivan, Bill Heck and Kristen Johnston and directed by Niels Mueller.
In addition to his feature film credits Josh has worked as a Line Producer and Production Manager for Oprah Winfrey for over 7 years. First for Harpo Studios in Chicago and then the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) in West Hollywood. Josh has completed shoots with Steven Spielberg, Beyoncé, Michelle and Barack Obama, Jeff Bridges, Dwayne Johnson and many many other great guests. His favorite Oprah moment was getting to go on Safari in South Africa.
When Josh isn’t working he can be found trying to find the best donut in LA (Currently SK Donuts) or at his favorite place to relax the Huntington botanical gardens in Pasadena with his wife Jenna and sons Ellis and Calder.
