Born in the beautiful state of Colorado and raised among the sweeping plains of Kansas, Brandon has always had a passion for nature and the arts, some type of camera usually strapped to his shoulder. After studying theater and photography in Texas and Italy, he transferred to USC’s School of Cinematic Arts where he met many of his frequent collaborators, including the Breakwater family. He continues to balance various filmmaking roles, producing award-winning shorts and features and shooting a documentary, narrative, music video and branded work around the world. He is particularly drawn to stories about people’s relationship to the environments and cultures that surround and define them. When not on set, he’s probably either in a darkroom or in a tent among trees.
