Jaimie joins us from DC, where she worked in politics and non-profit advocacy for five years. Most recently, she served as communications director for Congressman Lloyd Doggett (D-TX35) and prior to that, as an analyst in Vice President Joe Biden’s office of the Obama White House. A co-author of New York Times Best Seller, Yes She Can — an anthology of essays written by young women working in the White House — Jaimie is a writer and creator and hopes to use film as a platform for meaningful, authentic, and diverse storytelling. She recently wrapped her first film, Max and Me, as a production assistant and set photographer. Jaimie is a Texan, Floridian, and proud daughter of Chinese immigrants. A graduate of Duke University, Jaimie is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree at the University of Southern California.

At Breakwater, Jaimie serves as the executive assistant to CEO Ben Proudfoot, oversees all of the company’s digital and social media, and coordinates development projects.
