Beatriz Browne is an award winning filmmaker and producer, who specializes in short documentary storytelling. Beatriz has produced non-fiction work extensively for clients such as Google, Airbnb, Peerspace, The New York Times, CNN, and Imagine Documentaries, in addition to original documentary series for several publishers.
Outside of branded content, Beatriz directed and produced 34 CARMINE ST., an award-winning short documentary setting its course in the festival circuit. The film was entirely self-funded and distributed by its collaborators. Beatriz is an advocate for the traditional form of independent filmmaking, supporting the idea that anyone with an idea and passion is capable of creating an effective story.
Born in Brazil, but raised in China and the UAE, Beatriz is passionate about global storytelling and exploring the visual language as a tool to connect to audiences worldwide. When she’s not deep in the realms of a story, you can find her exploring a new country and attempting to live like a local.
